Description

After nearly every good rain, a "sink hole" appears near the side of the street.  It eventually fills in, but returns every major rain.  It appears to be larger each time.
About 12" dia x 8" deep.  The street, from Maple south to the dead end is a mess.  It needs gravel, not sand, which has not been forthcoming.  The grading/drainage is not good.  Puddles exist, especially at the dead-end turnaround where the entire space (in front of 453 Brummett) is submerged.  There has been no MAJOR maintenance for at least 10 yr.  Currently, major residence/duplex construction at University & Brummett has completely decimated the street.  Heavy machinery have churned the street into powder.  Dust is awful.  I tried to attach .jpg photos, but were not accepted.  I am trying to rent a house on this street, but road condition is definitely a turn-off.  I have complained for years, so I don't expect any action now.  But I have to try.  Robert Fresh, landlord/owner of 425 Brummett
