Street Signal Timing at Kellogg Drive
Status: Open
Status: Open
Description
When you exit westbound Kellogg, heading southbound on Rock, the light timiming only permits 2-3 cars to turn onto Rock. In addition, many cars get in the left lane even though they are going straight (and could use the middle lane), but when they do that, it prevents the left turners from making the light. Perhaps, adding a turn arrow on the ground in that lane, in addition to increasing the light timing just a bit? Making the intersection more problematic, after you make the turn, the next light only allows 1-2 cars through before turning red. The 2nd light is perplexing, because there is no reason that I see that would prevent that light from allowing more cars through. The Eastbound frontage road traffic crossing Rock doens't have a green light for at least 15-20 seconds. And the Northbound Rock traffic can't turn left there, so there is no impediment for the southbound Rock traffic to be able to continue 5 more seconds. Thanks for considering my request.
