City Dog Parks

The City of Wichita now has four dog parks available for our furry friends to enjoy:

Chapin/Ashley Dog Park at Chapin Park, 3800 S. Hydraulic

Hours: 6 a.m. - Midnight (Daily)

Chapin/Ashley Dog Park features two off-leash enclosures: one for large dogs (15.15 acres) and one for small dogs (1.19 acres). The park also features shade shelters (for dogs), water, restroom facilities, waste removal stations and on-site parking.

K-9 Rooster Dog Park at Meridian Park, 2127 N. Meridian Ave.

Hours: 6 a.m. - Midnight (Daily)

The K-9 Rooster Dog Park features three off-leash enclosures: one 1.36 acres, one .97 acre, and one .83 acre. The park also has drinking fountains, benches, waste removal stations, time out areas and on-site parking.

Murfin Dog Park at Murfin Animal Care Campus, 3313 N. Hillside

Hours: 6 a.m. - Midnight (Daily)

The Murfin Dog Park features 3 off-leash enclosures (1.03 acres, .95 acres and .91 acres), shaded picnic tables, drinking stations, waste removal stations and on-site parking.

Harrison Dog Park at Harrison Park 1300 S. Webb Rd.

Hours: 6 a.m. - Midnight (Daily)

Harrison Dog Park features separate areas for large dogs and small dogs, as well as shade structures, areas for open play, benches, tables and an agility course.
