Water Bill: How to Pay

The following ways can all be used to pay a water bill:

Online:

Water bills may be paid online at Water Utility Customer Care. For detailed instructions for making an online payment, please see the topic “Water Bill Online Payment." A non-refundable $1 fee will be charged for all online and phone payment transactions.

Pay by phone:

The automated phone system is available 24 hours per day by calling (316) 265-1300. MasterCard, Visa, and checks (with account and routing number) are accepted. A non-refundable $1 fee will be charged for all online and phone payment transactions.

By Text Message:

The option to pay by text message can be set up online at Water Utility Customer Care. For detailed instructions for setting up text-to-pay, please see the topic “How to Pay Water Bills by Text Message." Standard data fees and text message rates may apply.  A non-refundable $1 fee will be charged for all text payment transactions.

Please note: the payment posting date will be the date the payment is received (not the postmark date).

Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m., Monday through Friday

 Cash, MasterCard, Visa, money order and checks are accepted.

Pay by Drop-box:

Payments may also be deposited in drop-boxes within City Hall. Please be aware that only drop-box payments made at drop-boxes located in City Hall and made by 3:00 p.m. will be posted the same day. All payments deposited in a drop-box after 3:00 p.m. will be posted on the next business day.

There will be a $30.00 charge on all returned checks. Please do not deposit cash.
