The Mid-America All-Indian Center (MAAIC) is a unique cultural facility located on the shores of the Arkansas River in downtown Wichita. The goal of the Center is to educate the community about the tradition and heritage of American Indian people while recognizing the important role they play in today's society.

The MAAIC is home to a museum with more than 3,000 artifacts and a gift shop featuring items made by American Indian artists.  The Center also offers educational programs for all ages and also has special event space available.  The iconic Keeper of the Plains is located just to the east of the Center.
